Purpose and draft status

This is an original working draft for operator review. It is not a disclaimer already in force, does not create a legal agreement and is not legal advice. No effective date has been assigned.

The purpose is to explain the confirmed boundaries of SeekDoctor's healthcare enquiry and visit-coordination service. The registered operator and the legal effect of any final wording require separate confirmation. This draft does not remove a duty or right that applicable law may impose.

Guidance is about arrangements

SeekDoctor helps people explore hospital enquiries and practical visit arrangements in China. The free initial consultation provides coordination guidance. It is not a medical examination, diagnostic service or promise of a consultation with a specific clinician.

Hospitals and treating clinicians assess patients, decide whether care is appropriate, recommend clinical options and confirm treatment fees. SeekDoctor does not guarantee eligibility, a diagnosis, an appointment, an outcome or a hospital's acceptance of an enquiry.

Emergencies need local care

The website, its enquiry forms and operator contact channels are not an emergency service. Do not wait for an enquiry reply if you need urgent medical help. Contact the emergency service or an appropriate healthcare provider where you are.

A stated reply expectation for coordination questions is not clinical triage or emergency monitoring. Sending a form does not mean that a healthcare professional has assessed your condition.

Reading treatment and provider pages

Website treatment topics are starting points for questions, not recommendations for an individual patient. A page cannot determine whether a procedure, medicine, checkup or rehabilitation approach is suitable for you. Discuss clinical questions with an appropriately qualified clinician.

A hospital or doctor listing is information for an enquiry, not proof of a partnership, current availability or a particular level of care. Check the provider's own current information and ask the provider to confirm details relevant to your visit.

Costs, illustrations and outcomes

A published cost example is not a personal treatment quote or a promise of savings. A hospital must confirm the assessment, treatment scope and bill. Coordination services and travel costs need separate confirmation.

Illustrative photographs, including labelled generated scenes, are not evidence of actual SeekDoctor clinicians, patients or clinical results. No story, image or general description can predict another person's outcome. This draft makes no success-rate or risk-free-treatment claim.

Clinical choices and additional opinions

Treatment decisions should rest on an individual clinical assessment, an explanation of the available options and the person's informed decision with the treating team. If advice is unclear or competing options need comparison, discuss whether another qualified clinical opinion would be useful.

This website does not supply prescriptions, medication instructions or an individual assessment of treatment risks. It does not advise changing or stopping existing treatment. Questions about medicines, procedures, fertility care or traditional Chinese medicine belong with the relevant clinician.

Preparing for care abroad

Before travel, discuss your health and fitness to travel with your own healthcare provider. Confirm entry requirements, insurance cover, travel arrangements and any needed follow-up with the organisations responsible for them. SeekDoctor coordination guidance is not a visa decision or an insurance coverage decision.

Differences in language, healthcare processes and follow-up arrangements can matter. Ask the treating provider how it will explain clinical information, obtain consent and arrange later care. This draft promises no particular translation accuracy standard or emergency follow-up service.

Information needed for clinical care

The current contact process is for basic contact details and a broad topic. It does not accept medical records, file uploads or payments. Do not place clinical reports, detailed symptoms or identity documents in an initial enquiry.

A treating provider may need clinical information through its own appropriate process. Any future SeekDoctor medical-file workflow needs separate operational and privacy approval before it can be offered. The contact form should not be used as a substitute.

Questions or concerns

For a coordination concern, contact the operator and explain the arrangement in question without attaching medical files. For a clinical concern or treatment-quality complaint, also contact the treating provider through its applicable process. Urgent concerns require appropriate local care, not this complaints channel.

The operator still needs to confirm its complaint procedure, responsibilities and escalation routes. This draft sets no complaint deadline, remedy or liability limit.

Contact and final review

The confirmed operator contact is 18309180000@139.com, +86 18309180000, Xi'an, China.

The operator must confirm the registered entity, review the clinical and coordination boundaries, and obtain appropriate legal review before approving a final disclaimer and effective date. The terms and privacy pages are also review drafts, not policies already in force.

Operator review points

These are open decisions, not statements of an approved procedure or a legal compliance assessment.

  • Confirm the registered operator and the scope of its coordination responsibilities.
  • Review every service description to keep clinical diagnosis, prescribing, emergency care and outcome promises outside the confirmed offer.
  • Confirm provider-verification and image-display processes without implying partnerships or actual patients.
  • Confirm which interpreting, translation, follow-up and travel services are actually offered and on what terms.
  • Define coordination complaints and provider escalation routes without inventing deadlines or remedies.
  • Obtain appropriate legal review of duties, applicable rights and final wording.
  • Approve a final version and effective date separately before activation.

Keep this policy unpublished. Activation needs separate operator approval of the completed final version.

Other review drafts

All four pages are drafts and are not yet in force.
